Conventions

This annual event, which takes place in January, is organised, in rotation, by one of the universities represented within ANEA/ASNA.

More than simply an opportunity for all actuarial students to meet one another during social activities or actuarial games, the convention provides its participants with insightful information about various topics in actuarial science. The topics are presented by professionals in the actuarial field and provide the membership of ASNA with new and interesting information about actuarial science that may otherwise be unavailable in an academic setting. As much as possible, conferences cover most of the aspects of actuarial science and the profession.

The ultimate goal of the convention is to make students aware of the challenges and realities that await them in the future.

In 2011, the ASNA Convention will be held at the Hilton Hotels in the beautiful city of London, Ontario.
