2008 Toronto

The ASNA Convention held in Toronto this year was deemed a success. Over 300 attendees and 22 sponsors from both Canada and the US gathered together for a fun and informative weekend. Overall there was a very positive impression of the convention from the perspective of the attendees and sponsors.

Several new events were organized this year. There were on the spot interviews with sponsoring companies, career discovery dinner with the SOA president and the CAS VP. In addition there was also a mingling party where students interacted with actuarial professionals from Mercer Consulting.
